Abstract

                   Sindhi, as a rich and vibrant language, has traversed a complex historical trajectory, marked by socio-political shifts and cultural transformations. This study delves into the nuanced exploration of the language quota system within the sphere of Sindhi, investigating its evolution, significance, and impact on the linguistic fabric of Sindh province. By tracing the historical roots and contemporary implications of the language quota, this research aims to decipher its multifaceted dimensions.The exploration begins by situating the language quota within the broader socio-political context, scrutinizing its inception and subsequent amendments over time. Historical archives, legislative documents, and socio-cultural analyses are employed to discern the rationale behind the establishment of language quotas and their role in shaping linguistic policies in Sindh.
